What Is It?

All occupants at Society have automatic membership of the Green Travel Club (GTC) which has been formed as part of the Green Travel Plan (GTP). The GTP encourages residents to minimise their reliance on private vehicle use by promoting and providing for a range of alternatives such as short term car rental, public transport use, walking and cycling.

As part of the GTC, Society residents have access to eight bicycles, one car and 25 umbrellas all for hire.

These plans reduce the cost of living at Society and reduce environmental impacts.
